Multi-disciplinary Daniel Cohen is a sculptor, illustrator, designer, and stop-motion filmmaker. Daniel employs a wide variety of creative approaches to make each project unique and very much his own.
Daniel began his career as a runner at Graham Fink’s production company thefinktank. After successfully pitching a commercial idea while still being an office runner, Daniel launched his directing career soon thereafter, as the spot won Creative Circle Best Newcomer. Working with thefinktank for the next several years, he directed several live-action and animated commercials and short films. Along the way, Daniel became well known for his visually arresting work for food brands, in his signature stop-motion style. This led to work with additional production companies such as Th1ng, HLA, and most recently Aardman Animations in the UK.
Daniel’s extensive credits include work for clients such as Amnesty International, Hellmans, Discovery Foods, Pepperidge Farm and Bullring Shopping Centre, which was recently shortlisted for the British Arrow Craft Award cross-media campaign.
